TRACY HOOVER
Hi, I’m Tracy Hoover! Originally from sunny Southern California, I’ve proudly called Oklahoma home for the past 18 years. My journey into education started with a passion for science and a love of animals—at one point, I dreamed of a career in veterinary medicine. However, I discovered my true calling in education, where I have the opportunity to ignite curiosity and inspire lifelong learning in others.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and a Master of Science in Teaching, Learning, and Leadership. With over a decade of experience as a middle school science teacher and instructional coach, I specialize in creating innovative, student-centered learning environments and helping educators reach their fullest potential. My work focuses on utilizing data-driven, student-centered strategies, fostering collaboration through Professional Learning Communities and teaming, and empowering both students and teachers to thrive. I was honored to be named Teacher of the Year during my third year in the classroom—a recognition that still inspires me to bring my best to every opportunity.
I’m a firm believer in continuous growth and enjoy leading professional development sessions that help educators easily implement evidence-based practices. I’m especially passionate about connecting classroom content to real-world experiences, ensuring that learning is both engaging and meaningful.
When I’m not working, you’ll likely find me spending time with my family, catching up with friends, curling up with a good book, or relaxing in a cozy coffee shop. I look forward to building relationships, sharing ideas, and making a positive impact together!
