As a dedicated educator, I bring a wealth of experience helping students and teachers achieve their fullest potential. Originally from Colorado, I came to Oklahoma for college and began my teaching journey in Moscow, Russia—a transformative experience that cultivated my passion for building meaningful relationships and fostering student growth. 

While I initially thought I'd teach second grade or ELA, I found my stride in middle school math classrooms, where I spent over a decade creating engaging instruction and helping students develop critical thinking skills.

Driven by the belief that better teachers create stronger outcomes for students, I transitioned into instructional coaching to amplify my impact. In this role, I empower educators by designing innovative systems, providing personalized support, and leveraging data to drive growth. My work focuses on improving teacher effectiveness and longevity, creating stronger and more sustainable learning environments for all.

I'm particularly passionate about helping educators navigate the rapidly evolving landscape of educational technology. As AI tools become increasingly prevalent in life and education, I work closely with teachers to develop practical strategies for integrating these tools effectively—whether that's using AI to streamline lesson planning, provide personalized student feedback, or create differentiated learning materials. My approach emphasizes maintaining authentic teaching practices while leveraging technology to enhance, rather than replace, teacher expertise.

Outside of work, I love reading, cooking, traveling, and spending quality time with my husband and two lively boys.
